Overview
Conference on infinitesimals, from almost-nothing to quantum and applied mathematics, bringing together mathematical, philosophical, historical and didactic perspectives.
Philmathmed 9 explores the narrative and conceptual fortunes of the infinitesimal across mathematics, physics, history, philosophy and didactics. The conference is followed by a didactic morning session devoted in part to the question of the continuum in mathematics.
